One of the telltale signs of an original Pallas vs a ‘Pallas’ed’ DS is the presence of this stainless steel trim. It would take quite a bit work to remove the the lower dash assembly to retrofit this piece of trim, and most conversions don’t do it

When I Lived In St. Louis A Number Of Years Ago, My House (Circa 1897) Was Constructed Of Very Thick Brick Walls. I Was Surprised To See The Word “Hydraulic’ On Many Bricks. After Inquiring, It Turned Out That There Was A Company In St. Louis That Manufactured Bricks Using A Hydraulic Press. The Bricks Were Very Dense And Heavy.

I trying to Decided how To Use This Brick (I Kept One From The Old House) … Garage floor, Maybe?

Green or Black?

DS Suspension Arm
I have been wondering (and asking) what original color was the suspension arm and wheel hub cover for my 1973 DS 23 Pallas. I have seen pictures where these where these were finished in green, (and my 71 DS was), but after cleaning all the grease and grime off the suspension arm and whell hub cover, it is very clear to me that the Original color was black. What color is your late model DS suspension arm painted?

Air intake hose for IE & Hose clamp

The original air intake hose for the IE models is hard to find these days, and the available replacement doesn’t look as good. Any leads on a good used one?

Also, what type of clamp was used on the hose when it left the factory? I don’t think it was this type of hose clamp!
